Kim Dougherty - Treasurer
A Christian for nearly 30 years, Kim has served throughout that time in diverse ministries in the Church. From youth to the elderly, to preaching and leading, she has found joy in each opportunity. With a BA in Pastoral Studies from Eugene Bible College (Eugene, OR) and an MA in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL), Kim has sought to integrate the word of God with real world living. Her study of Matthew 25 and its implications for stewardship, accountability and compassion had direct impact on her work in the Business Office of Trinity International University.
In different capacities Kim served Trinity and its students from February 1996 until March 2009, becoming well known with staff as a constant source of chocolate and information. Kim's most recent work includes coordinating the ShareFest Lake County Food Drive, team-teaching at Inside/Out Children's Ministry at Iglesia Emanuel, Waukegan and scrambling eggs at a PADS shelter. Having experienced the transformational power of Christ in her own life, she seeks to provide that same opportunity to those in need. Kim is a member at Village Church of Gurnee.
